Sunday’s Child is a new writing theatre company, founded in 2010, run by Eva O’Connor and Hildegard Ryan. We aim to create new, vibrant work that deals with issues that are often swept under the carpet. We have produced and toured seven plays across Ireland and the UK to date, Clinical Lies, My Best Friend Drowned in a Swimming Pool, Kiss me and You Will See How Important I am, Substance, My Name is Saoirse, Overshadowed and Pol Na Mone (work in progress)
Award for our work include the NSDF Best Emerging Artist 2012 (Edinburgh Fringe) , the NSDF Commendation for Best New Writing 2014 (Edinburgh Fringe) , the First Fortnight Award 2014, (Dublin Fringe) an Argus Angel Award 2015 ( Brighton Fringe) and the Fishamble Award for Best New Writing 2015 ( Dublin Fringe).
